As someone who once aspired to the lofty ambition of being a full-time writer (before discovering he did not have the ability), this makes interesting reading. I've read a lot about the writer-editor relationship, and it seems that both really need to click with the other; it's not just a case of good material I imagine.

I shall add this blog to my list, tho I don't consider myself a writer =)

Hello! Liv from I Eat My Pigeon here; I found my way over from JapanSoc. I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for your really kind welcome to the site. Thank you so much for your comments, and of course it's okay to add me to your blogrolls; I'm flattered. I'm enjoying your work as well and hope you don't mind if I return the favor.

The green tea is taking its sweet time to absorb; I'm hoping it's all worth it by the time I'm in my 40s. The other day a new teacher asked me what I was going to do with my major but I think that had more to do with the fact that I'm 4'11" than how much green tea I drink. We'll see, I guess!!

I really appreciated this post. It's my dream to become an editor some day and I appreciate any sort of clues from someone in the "business."
