		<description>I relate so much to this post. It can be really challenging to have homestyle - or at least non-Japanese style - celebrations here! Just assembling the ingredients can be a feat in itself. I don&#039;t have an oven, either, but have done some pretty fun things with my toaster oven; lasagna and roasted meats, to name a few. Strawberry shortcake is next on my list. With all of the difficulties, your celebration looks fantastic. I&#039;m crazy about Middle Eastern food and relish any exposure I get to it over here; even if it&#039;s digital!</description>
