Today I’m distracted by fully formed, if disconnected, scenes from a gestating novel set in and around Bar Harbor, Maine. I’ve had a strong desire to write something set there, since our trip, in April 2012, but these are the first, concrete stirrings of a story. I might have to take the day (or at least a few hours) off writing As Long As She Lives, and write them down, or they’ll haunt me until I do, and chapter 15 will never be done!
Writer, reader, traveler, gadget geek, dilettante photographer and ancient history buff. I used to turn other writers' stories into audio books, now I write my own. My debut novel, As Long As She Lives, is out now!
